Scorched Earth

Set in a future where an environmental disaster has left Earth nearly uninhabitable and killed billions, this science fiction action film follows Attica Gage. A bounty hunter operating in this hostile landscape, Gage takes a contract to track down a dangerous criminal leader and his gang. While infiltrating the group to secure a reward, she encounters an enslaved girl who reminds her of her deceased sister, forcing her to choose between her mission and saving a stranger.

The film was directed by Peter Howitt, appearing as the seventh project in a chronology that includes Sliding Doors and Antitrust. The movie stars Gina Carano as Gage, alongside John Hannah, Ryan Robbins, Stephanie Bennett, Kailey Spear, and Luvia Petersen. Produced by Lighthouse Pictures and Okanagan Media, this joint Canadian and United States production runs for 93 minutes.
