Icarus
Short description
Edward Genn is a former KGB assassin who operated as a sleeper agent in the United States. Following the collapse of the Soviet Union, he abandoned his past to build a new life, establishing a legitimate business and starting a family under a different identity. His attempt to escape his history as a hitman is threatened when enemies from his past resurface, forcing him to use his lethal skills once more to protect his loved ones.
Directed by Dolph Lundgren, this action thriller is the third film he has directed, following The Russian Specialist and Missionary Man. Lundgren also stars in the lead role as Edward Genn, alongside a cast that includes Samantha Ferris, David James Lewis, and Bo Svenson. The production was a joint effort between Canada and the United States, involving CineTel Films, Insight Film Studios, and Icarus BC Productions.
Produced on a budget of 5 million USD, the film received a mixed response from viewers. It holds a rating of 5.1/10 on IMDb based on 4,500 votes and a rating of 4.9/10 on TMDB from 110 votes.

- Initially, Dolph Lundgren intended to film the project and play not the main role, but the role of the villain, but the filmmakers did not approve of his idea.
