Girls Lost

Three fourteen-year-old friends who face bullying at school discover a mysterious flower with magical properties. By drinking its nectar, the girls are transformed into boys, allowing them to experience life from a different perspective and escape their status as outsiders. While two of the girls eventually recognize the downsides of this change and view it as temporary, Kim feels a deep connection to her new identity and struggles when the effects begin to fade.

Written and directed by Alexandra-Therese Keining, this Finnish and Swedish drama fantasy is the second film in her career, following With Every Heartbeat and preceding Resan till Piemonte.
