Welcome Back

Two former gangsters have left their criminal past behind and settled into respectable lives in Dubai, where they run a luxury hotel. Their peace is disturbed when Uday's womanizing father produces another daughter, Ranjana, and expects his son and his friend Majnu to take responsibility for her. The pair set about arranging a marriage for the young woman, but mistaken identities and romantic confusion complicate the plan, especially once two women enter the picture and both men take an interest in the same one.

Welcome Back is a 2015 Indian action comedy directed by Anees Bazmee, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Rajeev Kaul and Rajan Aggarwal and produced alongside A. A. Nadiadwala and Faraz M. Khan. It followed Bazmee's Welcome (2007), and John Abraham, Shruti Haasan, Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar, Paresh Rawal and Dimple Kapadia head a cast of twenty, with forty-four crew credited.

Released on 4 September 2015 with a runtime of 153 minutes, the film took in about 1 million USD worldwide. Audiences responded poorly: on IMDb it holds 4.3 out of 10 from roughly 7,500 votes, and on TMDB 4.9 out of 10 from 79 votes. The low scores and modest returns place it among the weaker entries in Bazmee's filmography, well below the standing of his later Bhool Bhulaiyaa sequels.
