Charlie Mills is eighteen and has already been through more than one attempt at drug treatment. After walking out of a clinic for young people, he goes back to his family in Los Angeles, where his parents push him into a rehabilitation program for adults. There he meets Eva, a young woman with troubles of her own, and tries to deal with his addiction, a fragile relationship and the conflict between his mother and father.
Rob Reiner directed the film, the sixteenth of the nineteen features he has made in chronological order, following And So It Goes and preceding Shock and Awe. Matt Elisofon and Nick Reiner wrote the screenplay, and the cast is led by Nick Robinson as Charlie, Morgan Saylor as Eva, Devon Bostick as Adam, Susan Misner as Liseanne Mills, Ricardo Chavira as Drake and Common as Travis.
The film runs 97 minutes and was released in 2016. On IMDb it holds a critics' rating of 5.1 out of 10 from 43 reviews, while on TMDB its audience score is 6.1 out of 10 from 178 votes, a modest reception in both cases, with viewers somewhat more favourable than reviewers.
