I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer

In a small Colorado town, a group of teenagers stage a Fourth of July prank built around a local legend. The stunt goes wrong and one of their friends dies, and the others agree to hide what happened rather than tell the authorities, who keep looking for the person they believe is responsible. A year later, as the holiday approaches again, the four survivors begin receiving anonymous messages from someone who knows their secret and means to act on it.

The film is a horror sequel directed by Sylvain White, his first feature, from a screenplay by Michael D. Weiss and produced by Erik Feig, Neal H. Moritz and Nancy Kirhoffer. Brooke Nevin, David Paetkau, Torrey DeVitto, Ben Easter, Seth Packard and Don Shanks appear among the 21 credited cast members. Screen Gems produced it in the United States, and it runs 92 minutes.

It was released in June 2006. Reception was weak: on IMDb it holds 3.3 out of 10 from roughly 16,000 votes, and on TMDB 4.2 out of 10 from about 500 votes. A critics' rating of 2.5 out of 10 from seven reviews places it close to those audience scores rather than above them. White went on to direct Stomp the Yard, The Losers and Slender Man.
