Pare Ko

Pare Ko follows a circle of carefree teenagers who try to hold their friendship together as each of them deals with difficulties involving life, love, friendship and family. The group's bond is the centre of the story, tested by the separate pressures its members face.

Jose Javier Reyes directed and wrote the screenplay. It was the second film he directed, following Shadow in 1994, and it precedes Batang PX (1997), Live Show (2001), Secrets (2022), Patikim-tikim (2023), Bantay-Bahay (2024) and Cheat Day (2025). The main cast is Mark Anthony Fernandez as Francis, Jomari Yllana as Mackie, Claudine Barretto as Nadine, Jao Mapa as Chipper, Gio Alvarez as Abe and Nikka Valencia as Carol, with 33 credited cast members in all.
