Short description
A family of six, including a grandfather, sets out for a summer vacation in a new minivan. To avoid traffic, the father, Tom, uses the cruise control to maintain a speed of 130 km/h. However, when the family attempts to turn around, they discover the electronic systems have failed, leaving them unable to slow down or steer the vehicle. The passengers must find a way to stop the speeding car before it reaches a massive traffic jam located less than 200 kilometers away.
The film was directed by Nicolas Benamou, who previously directed Babysitting in 2014 and Babysitting 2 in 2015, and later directed On aurait dû aller en Grèce in 2024. The cast features José Garcia as Tom, André Dussollier as Ben, and Caroline Vigneaux as Julia. Produced by La Petite Reine and Chic Films, this French action comedy earned 7 million USD at the worldwide box office. Audience reception is moderate, with a rating of 5.8/10 on IMDb based on 4,100 votes and a score of 6/10 on TMDB from 679 votes.
