Kindergarten Cop 2

FBI agent Reed is sent to recover stolen data, and the trail leads him somewhere he never expected: a kindergarten. To keep his investigation quiet, he goes undercover as a teacher. The job itself proves harder than any assignment he has handled before, partly because the school runs on rules and attitudes he has no patience for, and partly because someone else is after the same information.

The film is a comedy directed by Don Michael Paul, the ninth of the fifteen features he has directed to date, following Sniper: Ghost Shooter and preceding Death Race: Beyond Anarchy. David H. Steinberg wrote the screenplay, Mike Elliott produced, and the cast is led by Dolph Lundgren as Agent Reed, alongside Sarah Strange, Bill Bellamy, Andre Tricoteux, Aleks Paunovic and Fiona Vroom, with 28 credited performers in total. It was produced by Imagine Entertainment and Universal 1440 Entertainment and runs 100 minutes.

Audience response has been modest. On IMDb it holds a rating of 4.4 out of 10 from around 4,700 votes, and on TMDB it sits at 4.9 out of 10 from roughly 259 votes. Both figures point to a film that found a small audience and mixed-to-negative reactions within it, far from the reception of the 1990 comedy it follows in name.
