Short description
In an alternate world, humanity and vampires have warred for centuries. After the last Vampire War, the veteran Warrior Priest lives in obscurity with other humans inside one of the Church's walled cities. When the Priest's niece is kidnapped by vampires, the Priest breaks his vows to hunt them down. He is accompanied by the niece's boyfriend, who is a wasteland sheriff, and a former Warrior Priestess.
What's left behind the scenes
- The film is based on the South Korean comics "Priest" (1998-2007).
- The animated scene at the beginning was a compromise solution, as the studio categorically refused to film a centuries-long battle between humans and vampires with actors due to financial considerations, so they used animation, which was much cheaper.
- The film features "Suzuki" "Gladius" motorcycles, modified with special fiberglass body kits, painted and aged. The look of each of the six motorcycles was completed with prop weapons. Work on the motorcycles took approximately six weeks in total. As a result, all the motorcycles were fully operational (register and ride). Some of them remained in the film industry after the completion of this film and were subsequently used in other projects.
