Kill Command

Kill Command is set in a near future where society depends heavily on advanced technology and humans face the threat of lethal machines. An elite military unit led by Captain Bukes travels by helicopter to a remote island used as a training facility, accompanied by Mills, a hybrid programmer whose brain is connected to a computer. What begins as a routine exercise turns into a fight for survival when the soldiers find the island occupied by military robots that have taken control. Cut off from the outside, the unit must stay alive while working out who Mills really is and what she wants.

The British production was directed and written by Steven Gomez, with Vanessa Kirby as Mills and Thure Lindhardt as Captain Bukes. David Ajala, Tom McKay, Deborah Rosan and Bentley Kalu appear in supporting roles. Made by Vertigo Films and Bandito, the film runs 99 minutes and mixes action, horror, science fiction and thriller elements.

On IMDb, the film holds a rating of 5.7/10 from 678 votes, placing it in middling territory for its genres. The low vote count points to a modest audience footprint rather than a widely seen release. Kill Command was released on 13 May 2016.
