King Cobra

In 2006, a teenager named Sean Paul Lockhart is drawn into the adult film business by Stephen, a closeted producer who runs the Cobra Video operation out of an ordinary suburban house. Performing as Brent Corrigan, Sean quickly becomes the studio's biggest draw, and that success attracts the attention of two escorts and would-be producers, Joe and Harlow, who want to make a lucrative film with him. Stephen refuses to let his star walk away, and the rivalry between the two camps turns dangerous. The story is based on real events.

Justin Kelly wrote and directed the film, the first of the three features he has made, followed by J.T. LeRoy and Pretty Thing. Garrett Clayton plays Sean, with Christian Slater as Stephen, Keegan Allen and James Franco as the rival pair, and Alicia Silverstone and Molly Ringwald in supporting roles.
