Godzilla vs. Mothra
Short description
A meteorite impact wakes Godzilla from his slumber and triggers climatic disasters. Simultaneously, a giant egg is discovered on Infant Island, which belongs to the guardian Mothra. When the antagonistic Battra emerges to purge humanity to protect the Earth, the telepathic Cosmos fairies seek Mothra's help. The resulting conflict between these three monsters leads to widespread urban destruction.
Directed by Takao Okawara, this production was the first of four films he helmed in the series, followed by Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla II, Godzilla vs. Destoroyah, and Godzilla 2000: Millennium. The screenplay was written by Kazuki Ōmori and produced by Shogo Tomiyama. The ensemble cast features Tetsuya Bessho, Satomi Kobayashi, Takehiro Murata, Saburo Shinoda, Akiji Kobayashi, and Akira Takarada.
This Japanese action and science fiction film earned 20 million USD at the worldwide box office. It holds a rating of 6.9/10 on TMDB based on 241 votes. Film critics gave the movie a lower score of 5.7/10 across 9 reviews.

- The second option was the film “Godzilla vs. Gigamoth,” where Gigamoth is Mothra mutated by atomic radiation.
