125 Years Memory

This historical drama examines the enduring bond between Japan and Turkey through two separate events. In 1890, poor Japanese villagers risked their lives to save dozens of sailors after a Turkish frigate sank during a typhoon. Nearly a century later, during the Iran-Iraq War, Turkey provided aircraft to evacuate hundreds of Japanese citizens stranded in Tehran. The narrative connects these two moments of compassion, highlighting how the generosity of the past influenced the rescue efforts of the future.
