Sniper: Ghost Shooter

Brandon Beckett and Richard Miller are elite snipers fighting extremists in the Middle East when a colonel hands them a new assignment. They are sent to protect a gas pipeline running from Georgia toward Western Europe from militants who want to use an attack on it as a political statement. When enemy fighters begin killing American snipers with shots that land precisely on their positions, the team suspects that someone on the inside is passing information to the other side. Accusations spread through the unit as Beckett and Miller try to work out who is betraying them.

The film is directed by Don Michael Paul, the eighth of fifteen features in his directing career, following Tremors 5: Bloodlines and preceding Kindergarten Cop 2. Chris Hauty wrote the screenplay, and Jeffery Beach and Phillip J. Roth produced. Chad Michael Collins leads as Beckett alongside Billy Zane as Miller, with Nick Gomez, Ravil Isyanov, Stephanie Vogt and Navid Negahban among the credited cast of twenty-six. It is a Bulgarian-American co-production made for about three million dollars.

On IMDb the film holds 5.4 out of 10 from roughly 6,200 votes, while on TMDB it sits at 6.3 out of 10 from around 300 votes. The two audiences are close but not identical in their response, with the smaller TMDB group rating it somewhat higher than the larger IMDb group.
