We Have Always Lived in the Castle

Set in 1960s Vermont, this horror mystery follows the isolated Blackwood family. Sisters Merricat and Constance live in a large estate with their wheelchair-bound uncle, Julian, after a family tragedy involving poisoning killed their other relatives. While the sisters avoid the hostile townspeople, their seclusion is disrupted by the arrival of their cousin Charles. While Constance is drawn to him, Merricat views his presence and financial interests as a threat to their fragile way of life.

The film was directed by Stacie Passon, who previously directed Concussion in 2013. The screenplay was written by Passon and Mark Kruger. The cast features Taissa Farmiga, Alexandra Daddario, Crispin Glover, and Sebastian Stan. Produced by Mighty Engine, Furthur Films, and Albyn Media, the movie has a runtime of 96 minutes.
