Killing Salazar

A group of elite DEA agents are tasked with protecting a dangerous drug lord who has turned against his former criminal associates. While waiting for extraction, the team and the informant take cover in a luxury hotel. The situation turns into a violent confrontation when the drug lord's old partners launch an explosive ambush on the building to prevent him from testifying.

Directed by Keoni Waxman, this action thriller is the 11th of 14 films in his directorial career, following Contract to Kill and preceding The Hard Way. The movie was produced by Binh Dang and Steven Seagal, who also stars as John Harrison alongside Luke Goss, Georges St-Pierre, and Bruce Crawford. A joint production between the United States and Romania, the film was made with a budget of 7 million USD.
