SoulMate

SoulMate is a Chinese drama and romance that follows the lifelong bond between two childhood friends, Qiyue and Ansheng. The story uses flashbacks to cover twenty years of their relationship, starting from when they were thirteen. Though initially inseparable, the girls find their friendship strained and eventually broken after a young man becomes involved in both of their lives.

The film was directed by Derek Tsang Kwok-Cheung, marking the first entry in a list of two films he directed, followed by Better Days. The screenplay was written by Lam Wing-Sum, Xu Yimeng, and Wu Nan. The main cast features Zhou Dongyu as Li Ansheng, Ma Sichun as Lin Qiyue, and Toby Lee as Su Jiaming.
