Kit is a young artist who moves back in with her parents and takes an office job that has little to do with her creative ambitions. A mysterious invitation arrives, leading her to a strange shop run by a salesman dressed entirely in pink, who offers to grant her a childhood wish: a unicorn of her own. The offer draws Kit into a test of what growing up actually requires.
