Apostle

Set in 1905, the story follows Thomas Richardson as he travels to a distant island to rescue his sister. She has been abducted by a secretive religious cult that intends to demand a ransom. As Thomas attempts to save her, he discovers the lies and dark secrets that sustain the isolated community.

The film was written and directed by Gareth Evans, following his work on Merantau, The Raid, V/H/S/2, and The Raid 2. It precedes his 2025 film Havoc.
