Following a severe sports accident in a swimming pool, Benjamin enters a rehabilitation center as an incomplete quadriplegic. He joins a group of other patients with various physical disabilities, including those with brain injuries and those born with impairments. Together, they face the emotional challenges of helplessness and despair while fighting to regain basic motor skills, such as moving a finger or using cutlery. While some make progress in their mobility, others must accept lifelong limitations. Through shared struggles, the group relies on friendship and hope to navigate their recovery.

This French comedy-drama was co-directed by Grand Corps Malade and Mehdi Idir. It represents the first film for both directors.
