Almost Friends

Charlie is a demotivated man in his mid-20s who lives with his mother and stepfather. He becomes infatuated with Amber, a girl working at a local coffee shop, but she is already in a serious relationship. As Charlie and Amber grow closer, they struggle with the boundary between friendship and intimacy, prompting both characters to reflect on their current paths in life.

Written and directed by Jake Goldberger, this American comedy-drama follows his previous works, Don McKay and Life of a King.
