Tomato Red

A drifter named Sammy Barlach arrives in the town of Venus Holler looking for drinks and company. He finds unexpected support from Jamalee and her brother Jason, who provide him with food and a place to stay while harboring their own ambitions to find success. However, the characters must contend with local prejudice and systemic corruption, while Sammy struggles with his own internal psychological battles.

This drama and thriller was written and directed by Juanita Wilson. The film stars Julia Garner as Jamalee Merridew and Jake Weary as Sammy, with Anna Friel, Nick Roux, Douglas M.
