Red Istanbul

Orhan, a writer who has lived in London for two decades, returns to Istanbul to help a renowned filmmaker named Deniz edit his first book. While staying at the director's fading family estate, Orhan becomes entangled in the complex dynamics of Deniz's friends and relatives. When Deniz mysteriously vanishes, Orhan remains in the city to help search for him, a process that forces him to confront his own buried memories and personal history.

The film was directed by Ferzan Özpetek and is based on his book of the same name. It marks the director's return to filming in Turkey after a significant period.
