Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue

Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue follows the fairies as they move to their summer camp in the English countryside. Curious about the human world despite the rule against contact with people, Tinker Bell ventures near a cottage and is discovered by Lizzy, a lonely young girl who believes in fairies. The two form a bond, but Tinker Bell's situation sets off a daring rescue attempt by the other fairies, led by the headstrong Vidia, as a fierce storm bears down on the area.

Released in 2010, the film runs 76 minutes and was directed by Bradley Raymond, whose earlier work includes Tinker Bell, the first film in this series. It was written by Paul Germain, Bob Hilgenberg and Rob Muir, and produced by Margot Pipkin and Helen Kalafatic. Mae Whitman returns as the voice of Tinker Bell, joined by Lauren Mote as Lizzy, Michael Sheen as Dr. Griffiths, Pamela Adlon as Vidia, Lucy Liu as Silvermist and Raven-Symoné as Iridessa. Produced by DisneyToon Studios with Prana Animation Studios on a budget of 35 million USD, it was a modestly scaled animated release.

Audience response has been consistently positive, with a rating of 6.8/10 on IMDb from around 12,000 votes and the same 6.8/10 on TMDB from just over a thousand votes. Critics were less enthusiastic, giving 5.7/10 across 10 reviews, a lower figure than the audience scores, though still a mixed rather than hostile reception.
