Fatal Defense

A single mother seeks self-defense training from an attractive instructor after an attack in her home. While she initially develops a closer relationship with her teacher, he becomes obsessed with her. To determine if she has mastered his extreme methods, the instructor creates a series of increasingly lethal challenges for her to face.

This 2017 American TV movie was directed by John Murlowski, who also served as a producer. In his career as a director, this project followed his 2016 film Bad Twin and preceded his 2018 work Deadly Inn. The screenplay was written by Steven Palmer Peterson. The film stars Ashley Scott as Arden Walsh and David Cade as Logan Chase, with supporting roles played by Sophie Guest, Laurie Fortier, David Paladino, and Sherilyn Fenn.
