Saaho

Saaho centres on an undercover police officer, Ashok, who is drawn into a struggle among criminal factions over control of a mysterious object and a huge sum of money taken in a robbery. Working alongside Amritha Nair, a fellow investigator, he pursues those responsible while the loyalties of the people around him keep shifting, and the line between the pursuers and the pursued becomes unclear.

The film is a Telugu-language action thriller directed and written by Sujeeth, produced by Vamsi Krishna Reddy and Pramod Uppalapati under UV Creations. Prabhas plays Ashok, with Shraddha Kapoor as Amritha Nair and supporting turns from Neil Nitin Mukesh, Chunky Pandey, Mandira Bedi and Arun Vijay. It runs 171 minutes and was released on 29 August 2019. Made on a budget of about 44 million USD, it took roughly 55 million USD worldwide, a return that made it a commercially successful Telugu release despite a mixed response from viewers.

Sujeeth's debut feature, it was followed by They Call Him OG (2025) and They Call Him OG 2 (2028). Reception was divided: it holds a rating of 5.1 from about 27,000 votes on IMDb and 5.7 from 117 votes on TMDB, while critics gave it 3.8 from 13 reviews, a noticeably lower figure than the audience scores.
