Scooby-Doo! Camp Scare

Scooby-Doo and the gang head into the outdoors for a summer visit to Fred's old camp, expecting a relaxing break in the woods. What they find is a place that seems abandoned, and the campfire tales they hear turn out to be more than stories: whenever someone tells a ghost story, the creature in it appears for real. The Mystery Inc. crew, made up of Scooby, Shaggy, Fred, Daphne and Velma, sets out to work out what is behind the Woodsman, the Fisherman and the Spectre of Black Canyon before the camp's troubles drive everyone away.

The film is a direct-to-video animated mystery directed by Ethan Spaulding, working from a screenplay by Jed Elinoff and Scott Thomas. It was the first title in Spaulding's directing run listed on TMDB, and he went on to make several further Scooby-Doo and DC animated features. Frank Welker voices both Fred and Scooby-Doo, with Mindy Cohn as Velma, Matthew Lillard as Shaggy and Grey DeLisle as Daphne; Dee Bradley Baker and Mark Hamill fill multiple supporting roles.

Scooby-Doo! Camp Scare runs 72 minutes and was released in September 2010. It holds a rating of 7.2/10 on IMDb from around 5,600 votes and 7.7/10 on TMDB from roughly 350 votes, a strong reception for a direct-to-video family mystery.
