I Love You, Daddy

Glen Topher is a successful television writer whose estranged seventeen-year-old daughter, China, comes to stay with him. While spending time with her father, she meets Leslie Goodwin, an elderly film director whose reputation includes a well-known interest in young women. Leslie begins courting China, and Glen struggles with how to respond to the situation.

Louis C.K. directed the film and wrote its screenplay, with John Skidmore, Vernon Chatman and Dave Becky producing. It is the third feature he directed, following Tomorrow Night (1998) and Pootie Tang (2001). Louis C.K. plays Glen, Chloë Grace Moretz plays China, and John Malkovich plays Leslie. Rose Byrne, Charlie Day and Helen Hunt round out the main cast.
