Penny Cooper is an eighteen-year-old girl who spent years admiring a surfer named Johnny Sanders Jr. The two grew closer following the death of Johnny's father, but Penny finds herself conflicted when a mysterious country musician named Ash Baker arrives on the beach. Set along the coast of Los Angeles, the story follows Penny as she navigates this romantic triangle and attempts to understand her emotions through her camera.

Directed by Alex Israel, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Michael Berk, this American drama and romance was released in 2017.
