Tokyo Knights

Tokyo Knights is an action comedy about a college student who becomes the head of his family's organized crime operations. The story focuses on the young man stepping into the role of leader within the criminal underworld after the passing of his father.

Directed by Seijun Suzuki, this production was released by Nikkatsu Corporation in 1961. It is the tenth of 26 films directed by Suzuki, following The Man with a Shotgun and preceding Million Dollar Smash-and-Grab. The screenplay was written by Gan Yamazaki. The film features a cast of 20 credited actors, including Kōji Wada in the role of Koji, Mayumi Shimizu as Yuriko, and Yôko Minamida as Koji's mother. Other appearances include Nobuo Kaneko, Yoshiko Nezu, and Hiroshi Kondō.
