Odette is a girl who enjoys drawing and dancing from the age of eight. As an adult, she comes to understand that she was abused during her childhood. She devotes herself to her professional dance career and uses her art to process her trauma and reclaim control over her body. Through therapy and reflection, she confronts the pain and indifference of her past to find a way to move forward.
The film was co-directed by Eric Métayer and Andréa Bescond, who also co-wrote the screenplay. This 2018 production was the first collaboration between the two directors, who later worked together on Big Kids in 2023. Andréa Bescond stars as Odette Le Nadant, appearing alongside Karin Viard, Clovis Cornillac, Pierre Deladonchamps, and Grégory Montel. The French comedy-drama features a credited cast of 88 performers and was produced by companies including Orange Studio and France 2 Cinéma.
