When the Bull Cried

Set in a high-altitude mining town in Bolivia, this documentary examines a community centered on tin extraction. The film explores the hardships of the laborers, where dangerous working conditions and frequent deaths lead the miners to leave offerings for El Tio, an underground deity, in hopes of safety and success.
