Zeppelin

During the First World War, a Scottish officer named Geoffrey Richter-Douglas finds himself caught between two countries. His mother came from a Bavarian aristocratic family and he spent childhood summers in Germany, so when a German agent offers him the chance to switch sides, his loyalties are already divided. He reports the approach to his superiors, but rather than arrest the spy they encourage him to play along, sending him into Germany as an Allied agent. There, among old friends, he learns that allegiance is a more tangled matter than he expected, and events carry him aboard a prototype Zeppelin bound for Scotland on a secret mission with the power to shape the war's outcome.
