211 is an action crime thriller about a police officer whose routine shift turns into a violent bank robbery. Officer Mike Chandler is riding with his partner, Steve MacAvoy, and a teenage boy named Kenny, who has been ordered by a court to accompany the officers as a consequence of a violent offense. The three are drawn into the middle of an armed hold-up carried out by a trained crew, and Chandler, badly outmatched, takes charge of the situation while hostages are caught inside. The film is inspired by a real American armed robbery that became one of the longest and bloodiest police incidents on record.

York Alec Shackleton directed from a screenplay by John Rebus; Les Weldon, Isaac Florentine and Jeffrey Greenstein produced. It was Shackleton's first feature, followed by Disturbing the Peace. Nicolas Cage plays Chandler, with Sophie Skelton as Lisa MacAvoy, Michael Rainey Jr. as Kenny, Dwayne Cameron as Steve MacAvoy, Weston Cage Coppola as Luke and Cory Hardrict as Hanson. The film runs 86 minutes.

Released in 2018, it drew little commercial response, taking about 1 million dollars worldwide. On IMDb it holds 4.4 out of 10 from roughly 10,000 votes, and on TMDB 5.3 out of 10 from about 500 votes. A critics' rating of 2.5 out of 10 from 24 reviews places it below even the modest audience scores.
