Short description
The Winter Feast is Po's favorite holiday. Every year he and his father hang decorations, cook together, and serve noodle soup to the villagers. But this year Shifu informs Po that as Dragon Warrior, it is his duty to host the formal Winter Feast at the Jade Palace. Po is caught between his obligations as the Dragon Warrior and his family traditions: between Shifu and Mr. Ping.
What's left behind the scenes
- The character voiced by Jack McBrayer hails from the Chinese province of Heilongjiang, which literally translates to "Black Dragon River." Historically, this province was subject to numerous raids, and a section of the Great Wall of China passes through it.
- The colors of the lanterns in the city square are the same as those displayed for the International Snow and Ice Sculpture Festival, which has been held annually in Harbin (Heilongjiang Province) since 1963.
- At night, children are sculpting a panda figure out of snow in the square.
