An elderly woman named Rose lives in a lake house she has owned for five decades. While her daughter Patti worries about her living alone and encourages her to sell the property, Rose refuses to leave the home due to the memories attached to it. During a weekend visit from Patti and her granddaughter Allison, an old roll of film is discovered. Developing these photographs brings back memories of a summer from Rose's youth when she fell in love with a woman named Louise.
