Winnie the Pooh

Winnie the Pooh wakes up hungry and goes looking for honey, but his friends in the Hundred Acre Wood have other problems on their minds. Eeyore has lost his tail, and while the others try to find him a replacement, Owl misreads a note left by Christopher Robin and becomes convinced that the boy has been taken by a creature called the Backson. Pooh, Tigger, Rabbit, Piglet, Kanga, Roo and Eeyore set off to rescue him, turning what should have been a quiet day into a much longer one for a bear who only wanted something to eat.

The film is a Walt Disney Animation Studios production directed by Stephen J. Anderson and Don Hall, with Peter Del Vecho and Clark Spencer producing. It was Anderson's second feature after Meet the Robinsons, while for Hall it came before Big Hero 6, Raya and the Last Dragon and Strange World. Jim Cummings voices both Winnie the Pooh and Tigger, and the cast includes Bud Luckey as Eeyore, Craig Ferguson as Owl, Travis Oates as Piglet, Tom Kenny as Rabbit and Kristen Anderson-Lopez as Kanga. It runs just over an hour.

Made for about 30 million dollars, the film took in roughly 33 million worldwide. On IMDb it holds a 7.1 from around 31,000 votes, and on TMDB a 6.9 from about 985 votes, while critics gave it 7.2 from 129 reviews, a slightly warmer response than that of the wider audience.
