A shy high school student named Nao Kogure finds herself unable to refuse a dating proposal from Taiga Onise, a peer whose intimidating appearance and piercing eyes frighten her. Taiga asks her to date him with the understanding that they will eventually marry. Although he seems like a troublemaker, Nao discovers that Taiga is actually a considerate person who enjoys cooking. As she spends more time with him, her fear transforms into romantic feelings.

The romantic drama was directed by Kōji Shintoku, following his 2017 film Peach Girl.
