Chaos

In Seattle, a group of armed robbers takes over a bank and holds several hostages. The leader of the gang, Lorenz, refuses to negotiate with anyone except Detective Quentin Conners, who had been suspended following a fatal incident involving a hostage and a criminal. To manage the operation, the police pair Conners with a rookie officer named Shane Dekker. Although the criminals eventually escape without taking any physical cash, the detectives discover that the heist was a distraction to plant a virus in the system. This digital attack allows the gang to steal one billion dollars from various accounts using the principles of chaos theory. As the investigation continues, Conners and Dekker find that Lorenz is murdering his own partners to cover his tracks.

The film was written and directed by Tony Giglio, marking his second feature following In Enemy Hands. The cast features Jason Statham and Ryan Phillippe as the lead detectives, with Wesley Snipes playing a dual role. Produced by companies in the United Kingdom, Canada, the United States, and Switzerland, the movie had a budget of 30 million USD but earned 7 million USD at the global box office.
