Oliver Twist

An orphan survives a difficult childhood in a workhouse before escaping to London. There, he is recruited by Fagin, a criminal who leads a group of young pickpockets. While he eventually finds kindness and protection under the care of Mr. Brownlow, he remains targeted by Bill Sikes, a dangerous associate of Fagin. The story follows the boy's struggles with poverty and crime as he eventually discovers his true heritage.
