Screwdriver

Screwdriver is a drama about Ziad, a man who returns to Palestinian society after spending fifteen years in prison. Although the public views him as a hero, he finds it difficult to integrate into modern life. As he begins to lose the ability to tell the difference between his hallucinations and reality, he feels driven to revisit the location where his troubles first began.

The film was written and directed by Bassam Jarbawi, who also served as a producer alongside Yasmine Qaddumi and Shrihari Sathe. The production was a collaboration between companies from Qatar, Palestine, and the United States. The cast features Ziad Bakri in the title role, with Areen Omari playing Ziad's mother. Other appearing actors include Jameel Khoury, Yasmine Qaddumi, Mariam Basha, and Amir Khoury, who portrays a younger version of the main character.
