Atlas

Atlas is a German drama centered on Walter, a 60-year-old man employed by a company that carries out forced evictions. During one of these assignments, Walter discovers that a tenant facing eviction is Jan, his estranged son. To protect Jan and his family, Walter must deal with his own past and oppose his corrupt employer, who operates on the edge of legality and has ties to criminal elements.

The film was directed by David Nawrath, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Paul Salisbury. This production marked the start of Nawrath's directorial career, preceding his work on Blind ermittelt: Tod im Kaffeehaus and Blindspot Berlin. The movie features Rainer Bock in the lead role as Walter Scholl, with Albrecht Schuch playing Jan Haller. Other cast members include Uwe Preuss, Thorsten Merten, Nina Gummich, and Roman Kanonik.
