The Black House

A timid insurance agent is drawn into a disturbing situation after a client calls to ask if her policy covers suicide. When he visits her home to prevent a tragedy, he instead finds her son dead. As the agent investigates the possibility of insurance fraud, he discovers a pattern of suspicious accidents affecting those connected to the family. The more he uncovers about the household, the more he realizes he is in danger.

Directed by Yoshimitsu Morita, this Japanese horror mystery followed his work on Lost Paradise. The film features a cast including Seiyo Uchino, Shinobu Otake, and Masahiko Nishimura. Written by Sumio Ōmori and produced by Asmik Ace Entertainment, the movie has a runtime of 118 minutes.
