Short description

In a near-future setting, most of the world loses communication and electricity, leaving only a small, ring-shaped area in Eastern Europe functioning. As people in space report signs of life within this zone, military forces venture outside the boundary to investigate. They discover a nightmare scenario where the human population has been eradicated, leaving corpses throughout cities, hospitals, and streets. The survivors in the final outpost must face an unknown threat while trying to understand what is destroying all life on Earth.

The film was directed by Egor Baranov, following his work on The Honored Priest: Confession of a Samurai and the Gogol trilogy. This action science fiction thriller features a cast including Pyotr Fyodorov, Aleksey Chadov, Lukerya Ilyashenko, Svetlana Ivanova, and Kseniya Kutepova. The production involved 51 credited cast members and 46 crew members, with a screenplay written by Ilya Kulikov.

Produced in Russia by companies such as TNT Premier Studios and TV-3 Channel, the movie had a budget of 4 million USD and earned 3 million USD at the worldwide box office. Audience reception is moderate, with a rating of 6/10 on IMDb based on 12,000 votes and a score of 6.5/10 on TMDB from 603 votes.
