Two thirty-year-old neighbors in Paris, Rémy and Mélanie, struggle with loneliness and the difficulties of finding a partner in a modern, connected city. While Mélanie faces a series of unsuccessful dates and Rémy finds it hard to meet anyone at all, they continue to live side by side without knowing each other. Both eventually seek professional therapy to address their personal struggles, a process that leads them toward an unexpected connection.
This romantic comedy-drama was directed by Cédric Klapisch, who also co-wrote the screenplay and produced the film. It follows his 2017 work, Back to Burgundy, and precedes his 2022 film, Rise. The movie stars François Civil and Ana Girardot in the lead roles, with Camille Cottin and François Berléand appearing as their respective therapists.
