A skilled surfer from California travels to the coasts of South Africa to fulfill her late mother's ambition of surfing in Jeffrey's Bay. Guided by her mother's journal and accompanied by a group of enthusiastic fellow surfers, she faces dangerous waves and personal fears while navigating the region.
