Cucciolo

Cucciolo is an Italian comedy about Massimo, a forty-two-year-old man who has spent over three decades attending the same grade in school. Because he subconsciously refuses to enter adulthood or integrate into society, he continues to live and behave like a teenager. His eighty-year-old parents, Amedeo and Lucia, seek medical help for their son. A doctor diagnoses him with Peter Pan Syndrome, suggesting that only a significant shock can force him to return to a normal adult life.

The film was directed by Neri Parenti, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Enrico Vanzina. It is the eleventh of 15 films directed by Parenti, released after Paparazzi and before Merry Christmas. Produced by Aurelio De Laurentiis through Filmauro, the movie stars Massimo Boldi as Mimmo, alongside Claudia Koll, Bruno Gambarotta, and Gisella Sofio.

Audience reception for the film was generally low. On IMDb, it holds a rating of 3.5/10 based on 194 votes, while on TMDB, it has a slightly higher score of 4.3/10 from 47 votes.
