Airborne

A specialized government operations team called Mach 1 is deployed to recover a deadly virus stolen from a secret research facility by a group of thieves. Led by Commander Bill McNeil, the unit successfully retrieves the biological weapon during a mid-flight interception of the thieves' aircraft. However, the mission takes a dark turn when members of the team are murdered, leading McNeil to believe there is a traitor within their own ranks. To expose the culprit, the team orchestrates the theft of the virus once again to lure the enemy out.

The action film was directed by Julian Grant, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Tony Johnston. This production was the second of four films directed by Grant, following Electra. The cast features Steve Guttenberg in the lead role as Bill McNeil, alongside Sean Bean, Kim Coates, Torri Higginson, and Colm Feore. Produced by John Gillespie, the movie was a joint production between Canada and the United States.
