The Wave

Frank is a successful insurance lawyer who discovers a legal loophole that could save his employer a large sum of money and earn him a promotion. On the eve of a critical meeting, he attends a party with a colleague where he is persuaded to take a mysterious hallucinogenic drug. This experience disrupts his perception of time and space, stripping away his reality to reveal the truth about his personal life and marriage.

Directed by Gille Klabin, this science fiction film was the first of two listed works for the director, followed by Weekend at the End of the World in 2025. The screenplay was written by Carl W. Lucas. The movie stars Justin Long as Frank, alongside Tommy Flanagan, Katia Winter, Donald Faison, Sheila Vand, and Sarah Minnich.
